We visited Drumnadrochit, Scotland in May 2001. Drumnadrochit is a tiny village on the coast of Loch Ness. The largest town is Inverness, which is a 30 minute drive further north. It was simply stunning.
We decided to visit here for a nice getaway. Cat had recently returned to Scotland from spending several months in Georgia, so we it was a reunion time. Also, we had to present our current research to the entire department and thought that going on vacation would be a great way to get work done(!).
